<p>Strategic Sourcing Program Manager</p> <p>Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,000 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in over 1,800 dental offices. Ideal candidates will be strong generalists with exceptional problem-solving skills, project management capability, analytical acumen, and the ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.</p> <p>The Strategic Sourcing Program Manager is an individual contributor role that reports to the Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager. While the role will work cross-functionally with clinical and technical experts across areas such as Dental Supplies, Equipment, Lab Services, Facilities, IT, Marketing, Education, Human Resources, and Recruiting, there will be a particular focus on supporting initiatives related to Lab Services.</p> <p>Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and project manage strategic initiatives to enhance Sourcing operations across key spend categories by developing project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely execution of key deliverables (example projects: roll out of new clinical workflows, development of customized procure-to-pay system, etc.) </li><li>Translate complex, ambiguous problems into structured project plans and independently manage timelines and deliverables </li><li>Drive adoption of trusted suppliers and strategic changes across supported dental offices by engaging with doctors and Operations partners to influence behavior change </li><li>Regularly communicate context, status, and outcome of in-process or proposed initiatives to leadership within the department and cross-functionally as needed to ensure alignment </li><li>Apply technical and business process knowledge to assimilate large data sets and structure reporting that enables decision-making on operational priorities and supplier contract adherence </li><li>Structure approach for quantitative analyses (using SAP data and Excel) on lab partners cost or performance improvement opportunities; synthesize findings and next steps for executive audience and collaborate with suppliers and Operations partners to implement </li><li>Monitor market trends and conduct competitive benchmarks to identify cost savings and develop strategic recommendations for improving clinical supplies, equipment, and lab cost management </li><li>Review and/or negotiate supplier partner contracts to ensure favorable pricing, terms, and compliance with organizational and industry standards </li><li>Lead sourcing initiatives, including competitive RFP events and supplier contract negotiations, to optimize spend, improve supplier performance, and enhance organizational efficiency </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Finance, Business or related field </li><li>3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, strategy, finance, and/or consulting </li><li>Ability to travel up to 1 time per month for 2-3 days at a time </li><li>Advanced technical skills with Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel (Macros, xlookups, IF statements, and PivotTables a must) </li><li>Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail </li><li>Proven ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems, analyze trade-offs, and drive to actionable solutions </li><li>Comfortability working independently and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong ability to prioritize tasks and structure work to achieve measurable business outcomes </li><li>Ability to measure the effectiveness of business decisions by developing and reporting out KPIs </li><li>Ability to lead and collaborate across functions </li><li>Clear and concise verbal and written communication </li><li>Confident presenter with the ability to engage and influence Senior Leadership </li></ul> <p>Desireable Quualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Preferred candidates should be within driving distance of St. Louis, MO, Effingham, IL, or Indianapolis, IN. </li><li>MBA or similar advanced degree from a top-tier university preferred </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
