<p>We are seeking a skilled and proactive Citrix Administrator to manage and maintain our Citrix infrastructure, ensuring secure, efficient, and high-performance delivery of virtual applications and desktops. This role is critical to supporting our end-user computing environment and requires strong technical expertise in Citrix technologies, networking, virtualization, and security.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Installation & Configuration: </li></ul> <p>Set up and configure Citrix servers, applications, and user access across the enterprise.</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshooting & Maintenance: </li></ul> <p>Diagnose and resolve issues within the Citrix environment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.</p> <ul> <li>User Management: </li></ul> <p>Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies within Citrix.</p> <ul> <li>Performance Monitoring: </li></ul> <p>Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.</p> <ul> <li>Documentation: </li></ul> <p>Maintain detailed documentation of Citrix systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.</p> <ul> <li>Collaboration: </li></ul> <p>Work closely with other IT teams to integrate Citrix with other enterprise systems.</p> <ul> <li>Upgrades & Patching: </li></ul> <p>Apply software and hardware upgrades, security patches, and manage infrastructure lifecycle.</p> <ul> <li>Disaster Recovery: </li></ul> <p>Participate in planning and testing of disaster recovery strategies for Citrix environments.</p> <p>Required Skills: What you need to be considered</p> <ul> <li>Citrix Expertise: </li></ul> <p>In-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), StoreFront, NetScaler (Citrix Gateway), and Provisioning Services.</p> <ul> <li>Networking Knowledge: </li></ul> <p>Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and general networking principles.</p> <ul> <li>Virtualization Experience: </li></ul> <p>Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V environments.</p> <ul> <li>Security Awareness: </li></ul> <p>Familiarity with authentication methods, security protocols, and best practices for securing Citrix environments.</p> <ul> <li>Operating Systems: </li></ul> <p>Proficiency in Windows Server and related OS platforms.</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshooting Skills: </li></ul> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical issues.</p> <ul> <li>Communication: </li></ul> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with users, teams, and vendors.</p> <ul> <li>ITIL Framework: </li></ul> <p>Understanding of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.</p> <ul> <li>Scripting: </li></ul> <p>Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.</p> <p>Preferred skills: what will help you stand out</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in enterprise-scale Citrix deployments.</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to cloud-based Citrix solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance analytics.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to train and guide users and junior IT staff.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work model:</p> <p>At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
