NSA Analysts are poised to provide the most complete possible foreign signals intelligence picture to U.S. policy makers and military commanders. They detect, discover, and deter foreign adversary intrusions into US networks and devise new ways to exploit foreign adversary capabilities. They do so in a variety of ways:</p> <ul> <li>Leverage NSA's unique capabilities to understand and mitigate global Cyber threats </li><li>Research foreign intelligence targets and their geo-political environment </li><li>Apply new techniques and develop creative solutions to address analytic problems such as synthesizing large volumes of data and disparate sources of information </li><li>Understand communications technology and burgeoning commercial and foreign intelligence target technology trends </li><li>Craft written assessments of foreign intelligence that provide unique insight into target intentions unavailable from other intelligence disciplines </li><li>Collaborate effectively (both within NSA and with the Intelligence Community) to further NSA missions </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Help</p> <p>Conditions of employment</p> <ul> <li>All applicants and employees are subject to random drug testing in accordance with Executive Order 12564.
