<p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Schedule orders for shipment: assign shipment card weight, trailer number, date, etc. </li><li>Prepare bills of lading for outgoing shipments. </li><li>Ship return authorizations as required. </li><li>Assign loads to various freight lines. </li><li>Assist in shipping "will call" orders for customers. </li><li>Prepare ASNs for customers, when required. </li><li>Enter information into customer portals, as necessary. </li><li>Compile all required paperwork for customers, vendors, carrier and third-party logistics entities. </li><li>Collaborate with customers to ship parts, as necessary. </li><li>Communicate and collaborate with other departments and employees in the plant to facilitate the shipment of priority parts. </li><li>Package orders, as needed. </li><li>Responsible for providing error-free work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Two or more years working in a shop or manufacturing setting required. </li><li>Able to obtain OMS Forklift and Overhead Crane certifications. </li><li>Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook. </li><li>Experience with ERP system required. </li><li>Able to work in a high-paced environment. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.
