<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Quality Specialist RN to support our hospital's quality improvement and regulatory initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical record abstraction, performance data analysis, and regulatory compliance. Experience with Sepsis Core Measure abstraction is strongly preferred, as this role will also function as the Sepsis Coordinator, playing a key role in sepsis quality improvement initiatives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Abstract, analyze, and enter chart abstracted data into Midas to support CMS core measures and other regulatory quality initiatives. </li><li>Ensure accurate and timely submission of core measure data. </li><li>Special focus on Sepsis Core Measure data abstraction and improvement initiatives. </li><li>Provide accurate and timely analysis of all clinical performance data to identify outliers and opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to perform root cause analysis and develop actionable strategies. </li><li>Share key updates with stakeholders and deliver just-in-time training on quality initiatives, core measure changes, and public reporting requirements. </li><li>Stay informed of all current and upcoming CMS core measures. </li><li>Assist with the development and execution of focused studies related to several quality performance improvement initiatives. </li><li>Provide training and support to Quality Management staff and quality improvement teams. </li><li>Attend relevant committee and workforce meetings, contributing subject matter expertise in quality metrics. </li><li>Perform internal audits and assist in survey readiness activities for regulatory bodies and accreditors. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing with current registration in the State of Ohio. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Three (3) years of relevant healthcare experience required. Two (2) years of process improvement experience preferred.
