We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members. </li><li>Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family. </li></ul> <p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.</p> <p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience.</p> <p>Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Plan, implement, and maintain a volunteer program to meet the needs of families/caregivers, as well as regulatory requirements for the Medicare Conditions of Participation. recruit, retain, and supervise volunteers involved in the hospice volunteer program.</p> <p>Provide information to individuals and community groups about hospice volunteer services.</p> <p>Supporting hospice community education efforts through use of volunteers for presentation or other activities in the community</p> <p>Prepares monthly and annual service reports.</p> <p>Acts as liaison between hospice staff and volunteers.</p> <p>Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities as assigned.</p> <p>Recruitment, screening and retaining volunteers to meet the needs of patients/ families and the hospice program</p> <p>Educate volunteers in accordance with hospice regulatory requirements and education standars.Develop and maintain the orientation and training of volunteers.</p> <p>Advocating for the utilization and integration of volunteers into the interdisciplinary team and liaise between team members and volunteers as needed to ensure patient and family needs are met</p> <p>Plan and implement volunteer support meetings and recognition.</p> <p>Promoting retention of volunteers through recognition, education and support</p> <p>Providing on-going supervision and competency evaluation of volunteers</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience. </li><li>Minimum of two years' experience working with patients/families/caregivers through death and dying issues </li><li>Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. </li><li>Valid Mandatory Reporter course completion by state(s) requirement </li><li>Mature individual supportive of the Hospice concept. </li><li>Previous volunteer experience. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision making and problem solving expertise. </li><li>Ability to work as a collaborative team member. </li><li>Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>#UPaHomeNursing</p>
