They additionally manage parking needs and issues across Thanksgiving Point property. This individual will additionally assist in the strategic management of the Security, Safety, and Risk programs across property. It is a fast-paced, energetic, fun environment that will add valuable experience and meaning to your work life!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage the security for events including planning, staffing, training, and overall event security.</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic planning for all events in conjunction with security and safety management and event management.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure security and safety coverage plans are successfully executed.</p> </li><li> <p>Response to all critical incidents and accidents.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee all event accident and incident reporting.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish safety and communication protocols for all events</p> </li><li> <p>Organize an event safety culture where suggestions are welcomed and appropriately implemented.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with all event stake holders regarding security, safety, and parking plans for each event.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee all event parking and other parking issues across property.</p> </li><li> <p>Create a work environment that fosters teamwork, respect, recognition, compassion, confidence, and employee satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and train by example, working alongside employees. Evaluate their success in implementing the security and safety program and initiatives throughout their shift.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure proper shift coverage for main events such as Tulip Festival, Luminaria, 4th of July, Story Telling, Cornbelly's. Will be required to work a variety of shifts at times including days, nights, weekends, and Holidays.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in coverage of Property and Event Security shifts.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a working knowledge of the technology used by the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Generate accurate reporting and metrics on Event Security, Parking and other assigned tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values, and Policies with compassion, curiosity, and confidence.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>At least two (2) years of security supervisor or management experience. </li><li>Successful track record of leading with sound judgement and compassion while working in a stressful environment. </li><li>Problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently and effectively. </li><li>Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately. </li><li>Physical ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours without relief, bend, push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds. </li><li>A positive attitude, a professional demeanor, and customer service approach to security. </li><li>Ability to work independently with little to no supervision. </li><li>Team player </li><li>A valid Utah Driver's license. </li><li>Pass a background check. </li><li>Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check to drive for work. </li><li>Be at least 21 years old. </li></ul> <p>EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
