<p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Sr. Sales Director - Food Service is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading high-performing sales team across North America markets. This role oversees strategic account management, distributor relationships, and sales execution, while operating within a matrix organization. The position carries full accountability for achieving national sales targets and developing long-term growth strategies within the food service sector.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Strategic Leadership & Growth</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute national sales strategies across food service channels, including broadline distribution, QSR, and hospitality. </li><li>Drive revenue growth and market share expansion across North America markets. </li><li>Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base within the food service sector. </li></ul> <p>Sales Execution & Performance</p> <ul> <li>Achieve and exceed national and regional sales targets. </li><li>Establish sales forecasts, budgets, and P&L objectives. </li><li>Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue, margin, and ROI. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Development</p> <ul> <li>Lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales team. </li><li>Manage brokers, distributors, and regional sales leaders. </li></ul> <p>Key Account & Relationship Management</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain strategic relationships with major distributors and key accounts. </li><li>Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements. </li></ul> <p>Operational Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and develop detailed reporting processes. </li><li>Ensure adherence to policies and compliance standards. </li></ul> <p>Global Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Align stakeholders across a matrix organization. </li><li>Support national sales planning and execution. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field </li><li>10-15+ years of progressive sales experience </li><li>Food service industry experience </li><li>Strong financial and P&L management experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>National sales experience </li><li>Food industry or TIC experience </li><li>Strategic account management expertise </li></ul> <p>Key Skills & Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Leadership and team development </li><li>Negotiation and communication </li><li>Strategic thinking and analytics </li><li>Microsoft Office proficiency </li></ul> <p>Performance Metrics</p> <ul> <li>Net sales growth </li><li>Market share expansion </li><li>Account retention and acquisition </li><li>Volume and margin performance </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Travel: Up to 25% </li><li>Reports to: Executive Sales Leadership </li><li>Scope: North America focus </li></ul> <p>The expected salary range for this position is $175,000 - $185,000.
