<p>The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supports high school and post-graduate students with communication disorders by providing assessment, intervention, and consultation services across school and community settings. The SLP works collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to help students develop the communication skills needed for academic and social success. The most qualified candidate will be available on a rotating, flexible, and/or partial-day schedule to attend team meetings and provide special education-related services consistent with the 6-day Winchester High School schedule.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders </li><li>Collaborate with the Special Education Team to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs </li><li>Provide direct and indirect therapy services in individual and group settings </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress </li><li>Monitor and document student progress; adjust interventions as needed </li><li>Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning </li><li>Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology </li><li>Valid state licensure and certification </li><li>Experience working with high school-aged and post-graduate students </li><li>Strong oral and written communication, collaboration, and organizational skills </li></ul>
