<p>Summary: This position is responsible for managing Sample Shop activities.</p> <p>Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the Sample Shop schedule which includes maintaining open orders and organizing builds which provide Gantt chart transparency to the engineering team. </li><li>Understand equipment capability and ensure functionality for sample builds/troubleshoot any equipment issues. </li><li>Hold weekly meetings with our remote production facility to ensure parts are shipped in a timely fashion. </li><li>Work closely with the engineering team to confirm sample requirements are understood and met. </li><li>Ensure the Sample Shop equipment and area is organized and clean. </li><li>Improve Sample Shop efficiency and flow. </li><li>Lift or move up to 50 pounds when handling equipment or product. </li><li>Use the following software programs when performing this job: Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP and internal EDM programs for data acquisition. </li><li>Travel as required to support the Department. </li><li>Assist in building prototypes as needed which can include the following: adding thermocouples to motor windings, winding production, stator production and motor assembly. </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Recommended Education and/or Experience</p> <p>Bachelors Degree in a related field; or minimum four years related experience; or combination of education and related experience.</p>
