<p>TrinityRail Maintenance Services (TRMS) is searching for an HR Manager in our Shell Rock, IA plant.</p> <p>As the Human Resources Manager you will have the opportunity to contribute to TRMS's success by supporting multiple facets of the Human Resources function, striving for innovation and strategic results in each area. The HR Manager will have responsibility for each of the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.</p> <p>Join our team today and be a part of Delivering Goods for the Good of All!</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Function as an integral member of the plant leadership team </li><li>Manage the administration and implementation of Human Resource programs </li><li>Proactively identify talent-related performance issues, including employee retention and engagement, and work with local management to implement solutions </li><li>Leverage HR data to identify potential concerns and to support recommended solutions </li><li>Ensure legal compliance, fairness and consistency in areas of employment, benefit administration, employee relations, training, and performance management and compensation </li><li>Provide guidance to managers and supervisors in areas associated with HR </li><li>Lead community involvement activities </li><li>Lead local investigations and resolution of ongoing employee issues, anticipate issues, recommend and initiate resolutions </li></ul> <p>What you'll need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field </li><li>7+ years of Human Resources Management experience </li><li>7+ years experience with employee relations, training, performance management and legal compliance </li><li>HR experience in a Manufacturing Environment is strongly preferred </li><li>Strong organizational, communication, analytical, written/presentation skills and critical thinking skills </li><li>Strong computer skills, understanding of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data base applications </li><li>Must be able to lead and influence all levels of employees </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish is a plus </li></ul>
