The role will provide support to facilitate communication between Mass General Brigham (MGB) Revenue Cycle Operations, and other MGB corporate departments, facility entities, physician groups, and payers, in the identification and resolution of operational issues impacting revenue cycle functions.</p> <ul> <li>Lead outward facing workgroups with Payers </li></ul> <p>o Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with Payer representative(s)</p> <p>o Maintenance of project plans</p> <p>o Initiation of, and/or participation, in negotiation of issue resolution</p> <p>o Presentation of recommendations and outcomes to senior management</p> <ul> <li>Escalate identified issues for resolution. </li></ul> <p>o Perform necessary research and scoping of issue.</p> <p>o May be required to review claim details and remittance documents.</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and present information for various cross functional team meetings, internal and external to PHS. </li><li>Coordinate implementation activities related to newly contracted Payers and/or programs. </li><li>Monitor changes to Payer policies and communicate as needed, on a timely basis. </li><li>Contribute to department efforts to present revenue cycle/payer related information, network wide. </li><li>Research ad hoc industry related queries upon request, document findings and communicate to relevant parties. </li><li>Work with MGB Contracting to resolve issues pertaining contract terms and to understand contract language as it relates to identified issues. </li><li>Participate in process improvement initiatives within Revenue Cycle Operations, including but not limited to Everybody Solves Problems(ESP) </li><li>Represent physician and facility departments at meetings/presentations as requested/required. </li><li>May be required to support set up of new business/practices. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree preferred in areas such as Healthcare Management, Finance and /or insurance, or other related Field of Study, </li><li>MGB can review and consider experience in lieu of a degree </li><li>Healthcare Billing/Revenue Cycle Management Experience, 3-5 years required </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. </li><li>Epic system functionality, preferred. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong customer service orientation. </li><li>Ability to work effectively as member of team. </li><li>Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to take initiative. </li><li>Knowledge of revenue cycle workflows- physician based processes </li></ul> <p>Additional Job Details (if applicable)</p> <p>Working Conditions and Requirements</p> <ul> <li>M-F Eastern Business hours required Full Time </li><li>Remote work requires stable, quiet, secure, compliant work area </li></ul> <p>Remote Type</p> <p>Remote</p> <p>Work Location</p> <p>399 Revolution Drive</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours</p> <p>40</p> <p>Employee Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>EEO Statement:</p> <p>Mass General Brigham Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
