You can do all this and more at UCLA Health.</p> <p>In this role, you will provide a range of services to multidisciplinary teams with emphasis on outpatient practices of the UCLA Health-Behavioral Health Associates serving adult, geriatric populations, child and adolescents. Duties may include psychosocial assessment; care coordination, consultation to the team, individual, family or group psychotherapeutic treatment; liaison with community agencies; treatment plan documentation; and disposition planning and advocacy. Requires excellent skills in interpersonal communication and documentation, as well as clinical knowledge of individual, family, social and Cultural issues in mental illness.</p> <p>Position requires travel between South Bay Clinics, Torrance and Palos Verdes as well as flexibility in schedule.</p> <ul> <li>Position is flexible hybrid with up to 40% remote* </li></ul> <p>LCSW Salary Range: $108,451 - $129,623 Annual</p> <p>LMFT Salary Range: $64,800 - $137,600 Annual</p> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <ul> <li>CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Masters in Social Work or Psychology OR California Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT) and Master in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or Master in Psychology or Master in Counseling Psychology or Masters of Art in Counseling </li><li>Experience and skill interacting with health care providers in a multidisciplinary setting </li><li>Working knowledge of general theoretical and clinical models </li><li>Ability to develop effective rapport and working therapeutic alliances with patients </li><li>Skill in writing clear and complete clinical notes and summaries of clinical evaluations </li><li>Skills and experiences in documenting/charting to ensure current and accurate medical records are entered and documented in patient files in accordance with established Medical Records policies and procedures </li><li>Knowledge of clinical social worker ethics and scope of practice </li><li>Ability to perform a complete mental status exam and recognize changes in mental status </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective and mutually respectful relationships with professionals and support staff </li><li>Knowledge of pertinent current community resources, including income maintenance, mental health treatment, special education, residential and vocational supports </li><li>Ability to provide and maintain appropriate coordination of care with existing providers and/or variety of community agencies and demonstrate assertiveness, persistence, and diplomacy as an advocate for the patient </li><li>Maintains the expected case load of patients </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
