This isn't your average GM gig-this is your chance to shape an energetic, design-forward hotel that blends bourbon culture, artful spaces, wellness-focused amenities, and rooftop vibes.</p> <p>As General Manager, you'll set the tone for the entire guest and associate experience. From room operations and F&B to sales strategy and team development, you'll lead with intention, creativity, and a little swagger. You'll collaborate with our corporate team to drive revenue, champion a people-first culture, and ensure this Tempo is always on beat.</p> <p>What you'll be doing…</p> <ul> <li>Cultivate a high-performing, high-vibe team that thrives on delivering standout guest experiences. </li><li>Drive top-line revenue through collaboration with sales and revenue leaders. </li><li>Keep expenses in check with savvy purchasing and budgeting. </li><li>Champion a workplace culture that's inclusive, welcoming, and rooted in excellence. </li><li>Be the face and voice of the hotel-connecting with guests, solving problems, and creating memorable stays. </li><li>Lead with presence, purpose, and a healthy dose of hospitality swagger. </li></ul> <p>What makes this Tempo unique?</p> <p>It's the first of its kind: the debut of Hilton's new lifestyle brand.</p> <p>Located in the heart of NuLu, known for street art, indie shops, and farm-to-fabulous dining.</p> <p>Features a bourbon-inspired lobby installation and rooftop bar with skyline views.</p> <p>Guestrooms built for Power Up & Power Down moments-with sleek, zoned design, Bluetooth shower speakers, and Sealy Accelerate mattresses.</p> <p>Thoughtfully tech-savvy: filtered still, sparkling, and alkaline water stations on every floor.</p> <p>Moonsong Café + High Stakes Rooftop bring big local flavor to every stay.</p> <p>Success Factors…</p> <p>Experience & Education:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years in hotel leadership (brand experience preferred) </li><li>Strong, accountable leadership in Food & Beverage operations, with clear ownership of performance, team development, and guest experience outcomes </li><li>Involvement in sales/revenue management a plus </li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Stellar verbal & written communication </li><li>Confident in MS Office and hotel tech platforms </li><li>Can hold your own in fast-paced, guest-facing moments </li><li>Fluent in the hotel's primary language (and the language of great service) </li></ul> <p>About First Hospitality</p> <p>Based in Chicago and founded in 1985, First Hospitality is a hotel investment, development, and management company with a passion for doing things differently.
