<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Blackberry Farm - Walland, TN</p> <p>Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time</p> <p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p> <p>Job Shift: Any</p> <p>Description and Qualifications</p> <p>Massage therapist is responsible for greeting Blackberry Farm guests in the spa, making them comfortable, and providing them with 5-star massages and body treatments. The ultimate purpose is to provide relaxation and restoration to our guests. Must work with and aid other team members in spa operations to ensure a 5-star experience for the guest.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Prepare room and tools necessary for scheduled treatments. </li><li>Ensure treatment room and areas are clean and sanitized using approved sanitizing procedures </li><li>Restock treatment products in treatment areas </li><li>Remove soiled laundry </li><li>Bring in clean laundry. </li><li>Assist in opening and closing duties </li><li>Perform a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue and hot stone massage </li><li>Perform a variety of body treatments </li><li>Willingness to receive training on new procedures </li><li>Maintaining current license according to state rules and regulations </li><li>Any tasks deemed necessary by the manager to keep the spa clean stocked and operating smoothly. </li><li>Report to management any maintenance issues </li><li>Perform Team Member services as part of cross-training education </li></ul> <p>Must comply with all company policies and procedures.</p> <p>Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.</p> <p>Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.</p> <p>Must have the flexibility to work Sundays.</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Must have TN State License required </li><li>Luxury Spa experience preferred </li><li>Six months as a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist preferred </li></ul> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Must have excellent verbal communication skills </li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members </li></ul> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge and understanding of math </li></ul> <p>REASONING ABILITY</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to be on feet for most of the day </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to perform multiple services during shift </li><li>Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property </li><li>Must be able to work in a calm and quiet spa setting </li></ul> <p>About Blackberry</p> <p>Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain, Relais & Châteaux properties located in the Great Smoky Mountains, continue the traditions of unparalleled hospitality and luxury that have always been the hallmark of the Blackberry brand.
