<p>CIBM Bank is seeking an accomplished Corporate Banker to join our Indianapolis, Indiana location. You will play a key role in attracting new commercial loan customers, servicing existing customers, and upholding our core values: Service, Solutions, and Integrity.</p> <p>Purpose:</p> <p>This position is responsible for generating commercial loans and deposits within the bank's quality and risk guidelines, analyzing credits, and cross selling other bank products and services.</p> <p>Essential responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Execute an extensive outside sales effort to generate loans and deposit accounts for the bank. </li><li>Analyzing financial statements and credit applications, while crafting loan packages customized to meet commercial customer needs. </li><li>Approving or denying credit within approved lending authority. </li><li>Assisting customers regarding existing loans, financing terms/options, and other related requests. </li><li>Negotiating credit terms within the bank's policies and regulatory guidelines. </li><li>Maintaining or improving the asset quality of the loan portfolio, including monitoring for and identifying credit issues, and calling on past due accounts when necessary. </li><li>Preparing and making loan presentations to the loan committee. </li><li>Staying abreast of industry and regulatory changes. </li><li>Effectively and fluently communicating with customers, co-workers, and others within a culturally diverse work environment. </li><li>Developing and maintaining effective relationships at all levels by proactively participating and contributing to a positive work environment, controlling emotions and temperament, and exhibiting professional behavior. </li></ul>
