<p>Position Summary ORLANDO HEALTH HORIZON WEST HOSPITAL Department: Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG) Horizon West Hospital Critical Care Managment Status: Full Time Title: Advanced Practice Provider, APP, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, ARNP, NP, PA, PAC Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital is a 60-bed acute-care hospital - with room to grow to 120-beds - located in the Horizon West community of Winter Garden, Florida. The facility offers a full complement of services, including heart care with complete cardio-diagnostic capabilities, digestive health, emergency care, outpatient imaging and lab, orthopedics and sports medicine, and reflux and esophageal disorders. Advanced surgical services include minimally invasive and robotic surgery options with specialty in general, thoracic, podiatric, orthopedic and advanced gynecologic procedures. The hospital has earned Primary Stroke Center and Joint Replacement certification from The Joint Commission and a repeat "A" Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for Spring 2025. Qualifications Education/Training Nurse Practitioner MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing. Physician Assistant Graduate of accredited physician assistant program. Licensure/Certification Nurse Practitioner APRN license in the state of Florida. After July 1, 2006, licensure applicants are required to have national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board. Maintains current BLS certification. Physician Assistant Maintain current physician assistant licensure in State of Florida. Maintain current BLS/healthcare certification.
