Our team is growing, and we are looking for talented individuals like you!</p> <p>Position: Maintenance Manager</p> <p>Location: Sharon Glen Apartments - Columbus, OH</p> <p>Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, with an on-call rotation</p> <p>Pay Rate: $29 - $32/hour (based on experience and qualifications), plus commissions, bonuses, and incentives</p> <p>Who You Are:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a residential or multi-family setting. </li><li>Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair. </li><li>EPA Universal or Type II certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe). </li><li>Comfortable using computers and maintenance software for work order tracking and communication. </li><li>Ability to install and repair major systems such as water heaters, toilets, and HVAC units. </li><li>Experience completing work orders efficiently while maintaining high standards for property appearance. </li><li>Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred; ability to guide and support a maintenance team. </li><li>Availability for emergency on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends as needed. </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills. </li><li>Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle for work use, and auto-insurance. </li><li>Willing to complete a background check and drug screening. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do as a Maintenance Manager:</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components, swimming pool equipment, grounds, appliances, locks, carpentry, glazing, roofing, blacktop, concrete, and signage. </li><li>Conduct regular inspections of the property and equipment to assess service needs, and determine the extent of maintenance required. </li><li>Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, and order supplies as necessary. </li><li>Complete work orders from apartment residents as well as keeping the community clean and presentable. </li><li>Ensure that units undergoing turnover meet maintenance standards. </li><li>Repair and maintain HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning. </li><li>Ensure that essential safety equipment such as fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, company equipment and tools are well-maintained and in good working condition. </li><li>Assist supervisor in preparing the maintenance budget as needed. </li><li>Supervise, guide, and mentor a team to ensure high-quality maintenance services. </li><li>Respond to emergency situations promptly while on call or whenever required. </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Agree Towne Properties is a Great Place to Work:</p> <ul> <li>Monthly commissions, on-call incentives, annual bonus, and mileage reimbursement. </li><li>Annual reimbursement for work boots. </li><li>401(k) with match, paid holidays, vacation days, sick and personal time. </li><li>Medical/Dental/Vision options and Flexible Spending Accounts. </li><li>Paid training, plus our award-winning Towne University development program offering paid CAM-T and OSHA training with a designated track of classes designed to help you excel in your career with Towne Properties. </li></ul> <p>Some of the ways your career can grow with Towne Properties:</p> <ul> <li>Towne Properties strives to promote from within with the help of our Towne University programs. </li><li>Maintenance Managers might move into roles like Area Service Manager, Senior Service Manager, and Community Manager. </li></ul> <p>Apply today and become part of a team that recognizes your talent and supports your professional growth!</p> <p>Towne Properties is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
