This position is to teach Group Classes for BJJ Gi and no-Gi mornings 2-3 days per week. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Coaches are responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience and delivering great member service through class, small group and 1-on-1 instruction.</p> <p>Coaches will work to build relationships with members/class attendees to ensure a quality fitness experience while also identifying private 1-on-1 personal training opportunities.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Promote and conduct private 1-on-1 personal training and small-group personal training with members. </li><li>Assist members and encourage member involvement in private training. </li><li>Ensure accurate administration of client programs, measurement tracking and workout programs. </li></ul> <p>Member Experience</p> <ul> <li>Focus on CHANGING LIVES through offering superior Service, Science and Sales. </li><li>Be a brand ambassador of UFC Gym and its "Train Different" philosophy. </li><li>Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces. </li><li>Respond passionately and professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members and staff. </li><li>Maintain the organization and neat presentation of the fitness floor and training spaces at all times </li><li>Follow IBJJF standards and guidelines. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Brown belt level or above. </li><li>Strong record of personal competition success. </li><li>Knowledge of Private Training techniques from assessment to program design. </li><li>Knowledge of company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of Brown belt or higher is preferred </li><li>BJJ Belt Certificate </li><li>BJJ lineage verification </li><li>MMA tournament record (preferred) </li><li>Grappling tournament record (preferred) </li><li>Minimum 1 year of training/coaching experience </li></ul> <p>Compensation: $20.00 per hour</p> <p>Train Different, Live Different, Work Different.
