<p>Halifax Elementary is seeking a part time Speech Pathologist to service, screen, and evaluate students with speech, language, voice and fluency disorders within the educational setting. This position is .5 FTE at Halifax Elementary School.</p> <p>The Elementary Speech-Language Pathologist supports students' communication development in order to enhance academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and functional communication skills. The SLP evaluates, identifies, and provides therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), state regulations, and district expectations. The SLP will report directly to the principal.</p> <p>Qualifications: State of Massachusetts Speech, Audiology and Hearing Licensure, Certificate of Clinical Competence, State of Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Speech and Language Teacher. School-based experience is preferred.</p> <p>Salary is cummensurate with education and experience as defined by the Halifax Teachers Collective Bargainng Agreement.</p>
