<p>DUI Counselor provides essential support and guidance to individuals charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Responsibilities include Conducting intake assessments and interviews for new clients; facilitating group and individual counseling sessions and educational classes, promoting safe and responsible driving practices, and helping individuals develop the tools and support they need to maintain an alcohol- and drug-free lifestyle.</p> <p>Duties and responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead individual and/or group education and training sessions about the negative consequences of driving under influence. </li><li>Teach First and Multiple Offender classes. </li><li>Conduct intake interviews with clients, face to face interviews, and conduct assessments of participants' alcohol and other drug problems efficiently and promptly. </li><li>Complete and submit all client case notes from assessment interviews and group sessions in a timely manner. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and course completion. </li><li>Attend DUI staff meetings as required. </li><li>Complete other duties and related projects as assigned. </li></ul>
