Be part of a team that enables groundbreaking discoveries and drives positive change in the world.</p> <p>We are seeking a Product Safety Compliance Engineer to join our Santa Clara Site Quality Engineering Services (QES) team. This role supports new product introductions and global manufacturing qualifications by ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure product compliance with global regulations and standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Integrate safety and compliance into product design, development, and testing processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor project timelines to identify and mitigate compliance risks.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate compliance objectives and updates to internal and external collaborators.</p> </li><li> <p>Support audits, documentation, and reporting related to safety compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a domain authority on regulatory topics such as RoHS, Safety, and EMC.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>BS or MS or equivalent experience in engineering, science, physics or a relevant field</p> </li><li> <p>4+ years of confirmed experience in hardware development or compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Validated ability to lead projects and innovate processes effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills across technical and interdisciplinary teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Familiarity with analytical instruments (LC/MS, GC/MS, liquid handling robots).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience interpreting and applying international safety standards (e.g., IEC 61010).</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on experience with compliance testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, insulation testers, etc.).</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of global product certification processes (CE, UL, CSA, PSE, NOM, BIS, MET).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience supporting regulatory audits and certification listings.</p> </li></ul> <p>Additional Details</p> <p>This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
