<p>We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health!</p> <p>Organization:</p> <p>SMCS-Valley Administration</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>This is a hybrid role and does require an individual to travel within the Sutter Health footprint and be onsite as needed.</p> <p>Provides overall direction and management, operational planning, administrative coordination and implementation of programs and activities related to the oncology service line. Accountable for the development and implementation of cancer resource and recovery programs, patient navigation (standards, scope of practice, and variance reduction), cancer patient experience improvement, survivor-ship care, monitoring of outcome metrics, management and compliance with accreditation program mandates relative to navigation, survivorship, and cancer recovery. Develops relationships with service and health care providers to assist oncology patients in achieving the best possible health outcome by facilitating access to healthcare, physician providers and community resources that enhance patients' experience within the health care system, as well as helping them achieve maximum benefit from those resources.</p> <p>Sutter Health, Northern California's largest health network with 29 acute care hospitals, more than 5,000 primary care physicians and specialists, home health, occupational health, psychiatric care and more provides comprehensive medical services in more than 100 Northern California communities. As a unified health care network, we partner to spread innovation, improve access to health care services and put our patients' needs first-all to achieve the highest levels of quality, access and affordability.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing </li><li>BSN or MSN Preferred </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:</p> <ul> <li>RN-Registered Nurse of California upon hire. </li></ul> <p>TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>12 years of recent and relevant experience. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of current clinical practices in cancer services, multidisciplinary clinics, infusion center and radiation oncology. </li><li>Current with new and changing standards, including clinical, reimbursement and regulatory. </li><li>Knowledge of Title XXII and JCAHO standards. </li><li>Demonstrated application of management theory and practice including systems analysis, financial and human resource management, organizational development, planning, marketing and governmental regulations. </li><li>Solid understanding of operations and workflows, and how department's process/workflow impacts other department operations. </li><li>Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees. </li><li>Demonstrates effectiveness in achieving goals through individuals without having direct control of those resources. </li></ul> <p>Job Shift:</p> <p>Days</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Full Time</p> <p>Days of the Week:</p> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>Weekend Requirements:</p> <p>As Needed</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Yes</p> <p>Unions:</p> <p>No</p> <p>Position Status:</p> <p>Exempt</p> <p>Weekly Hours:</p> <p>40</p> <p>Employee Status:</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.</p> <p>Pay Range is $94.02 to $150.44 / hour</p> <p>The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.</p>
