<p>OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR - The Courts at Cape Coral</p> <p>Sports Facilities Management, LLC</p> <p>LOCATION: Cape Coral, FL</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS</p> <p>REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS</p> <p>STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)</p> <p>ABOUT THE COMPANY:</p> <p>The Courts at Cape Coral is a premier sport, recreation and entertainment destination focused on improving the health and economic vitality of Cape Coral, FL. We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for a variety of duties dependent upon the need for the day while providing participants with a quality program experience. This position is an active part of the conversion/changeover process before, during and after events. Duties require converting the facility and assisting with any event-oriented preparation/setup for shows or sporting events to run safely and efficiently.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:</p> <ul> <li>Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff </li><li>Assist at Front Desk when necessary, with membership and admin duties. </li><li>Be responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate manager to resolve </li><li>Enforce facility policies and procedures </li><li>Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility events </li><li>Assist other departments as necessary </li><li>Ensuring courts are in good condition </li><li>Keep supervisor informed of issues and updates </li><li>Respond to all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations </li><li>Complete and file corresponding paperwork as necessary </li><li>Assist with daily maintenance and upkeep of department equipment </li><li>Assigning duties to staff during shifts </li><li>Providing customer service and managing complaints </li><li>Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts </li><li>Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management </li><li>Ensure health and safety standards are followed </li><li>Foster and maintain a positive work environment </li><li>Responsible for key and radio distribution </li><li>Responsible for opening and closing of facilities </li><li>Communicate to Facility Operations Manager and Coordinators on event set and breakdown </li><li>Serves as MOD on duty as needed </li><li>Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as directed by management </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work with a wide variety of ages from preschool thru adult </li><li>Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance is necessary </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written </li><li>Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment </li><li>Must have excellent guest service skills </li><li>Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills </li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize </li><li>Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations </li><li>Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow team members </li><li>Must work well with others </li><li>Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility </li><li>Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high </li><li>Will be required to stand for extended periods of time </li><li>Will be required to work indoors and outdoors year-round </li><li>Must be able to work independently in a busy environment </li><li>Must comply with safety and health code standards </li><li>Facility has intermittent noise </li><li>Must wear proper uniform </li><li>Able to run/walk as needed </li></ul>
