Applications without all required materials are incomplete and will not be considered.</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Number 507020 Working Title Assistant Coach Job Title Assistant Coach 1 Job Type Full-Time Department Womens Soccer Job Purpose</p> <p>Assists the head coach with all aspects of the soccer program including practices and conditioning, player development, recruiting, public relations, and supporting the academic development and graduation of student athletes.</p> <p>Tennessee Tech is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Coaching: Includes knowledge and technical expertise, ability to develop skills in players, teaching ability and methodology, game management, and effective program discipline and motivational techniques.</p> <p>Student-Athlete Welfare: Includes commitment to the welfare and safety of student-athletes, efforts to facilitate academic success, cooperation with academic units and counselors, and commitment to the social development of students.</p> <p>Recruiting: Includes effective recruiting, professional relationships with coaches in the recruiting base, and success of previous recruits.</p> <p>Compliance: Includes knowledge of and adherence to NCAA, OVC and TTU rules, regulations and policies.</p> <p>Performance: Includes level performance of team and positions coached, ability to attract support for the program, commitment to the University, and professional relationships with departmental and campus staff and community members.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Related coaching experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Work Hours</p> <p>Some after hours work is required.</p> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>Salary Commensurate with education and experience.
