<p>Overview</p> <p>Operations supervisor position for the Facilities trade organization.</p> <p>This position is for the D501 piping trade supervision which consists of Maintenance Pipe Fitters. This will consist of developing and scheduling daily/weekly workloads using CMMS, completing work orders in a timely manner, maintaining safety (JHA) and training programs, conducting preventative maintenance program of facilities equipment and utilizing process improvement programs.</p> <p>Applicant will also be required to work with outside contractors and support other Facilities and Operations organizations to complete job tasks.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED </li><li>5+ years' experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining steam and/or mechanical systems/equipment. </li><li>Must meet one of the following: </li><li>Minimum of 1 year related Electric Boat experience </li><li>Minimum of 3 year combined relevant experience and leadership experience in a high-volume setting </li><li>Minimum of 1 year EB experience and an Engineering degree in a related field </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years in pipe fitting </li><li>2-5 supervision experience </li><li>Preferred licenses P1,P2 or P3 </li><li>HVAC, Compressed Air, Steam, Water and Gas experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Supervision skills </li><li>Plumbing, Heating and HVAC skills </li><li>Good communication skills with multi-department interactions </li><li>Basic computer experience and knowledge is required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Qualifications</p> <p>Climbing, Color Vision, Crawling, Heavy Lifting, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting</p> <p>Environmental Attributes</p> <p>Acids or Alkalis, Cold, Dry, Dusty, Fumes, Hot, Inside, Noise, Oily, Outside, Wet</p>
