<p>This individual will be responsible for overseeing the Premium Audit process. The role would be the lead in vendor management and oversight, along with a point person for underwriters to assist with classifying exposures properly, handling audit disputes and providing updates on state rules. This individual would also be responsible for identifying efficiencies and gains in the audit process. This is a hybrid role.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Act as the relationship manager with premium audit vendor(s) evaluating performance, accuracy, and timeliness </li><li>Subject matter expert for the premium audit functions including, though not limited to, fielding questions from, providing updates to, and providing training to underwriters, agents, and policyholders on proper classifications and other audit related issues and functions </li><li>Resolve audit disputes and ensuring standardization between vendors </li><li>Analyze the current book of business to identify efficiencies in the premium audit process, along with reducing premium leakage </li><li>Act as a liaison between the underwriting divisions and other SECURA departments </li><li>Recruit, hire, train, and manage performance of a team of premium audit specialists </li><li>Manage and analyze associated premium audit reporting </li><li>Champion continuous improvement ideas regarding the current premium audit procedures </li><li>Manage the test audit process for any applicable states </li><li>Respond to Insurance Department inquiries regarding premium audit, with the goal of reducing CRITS </li><li>Remain current on premium audit through training, networking and industry publications </li><li>Lead future Request for Proposal with potential premium audit vendors </li><li>Assist claims in identifying the proper classifications for claims, along with potential fraud situations </li><li>Any special projects or duties as required or assigned </li><li>Represent SECURA through demonstrating our culture and values </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>ESSENTIAL:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of Premium Audit or other P&C related experience </li><li>Knowledge of rules and classifications within NCCI, WCRB, ISO and PAAS </li><li>Excellent written and oral communication </li><li>Detail oriented and analytical </li><li>Relationship and customer service oriented </li><li>Action Oriented </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong Organization Skills </li><li>Self-motivator </li><li>Excellent Project and Time Management Skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and related applications </li></ul> <p>At SECURA, we are transforming the insurance experience by putting authenticity at the forefront of everything we do.
