<p>Description:</p> <p>The Educational Service Center of Central Ohio is seeking a school psychologist who is organized, efficient, and self - motivated. The successful candidates must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as demonstrated experience as a child advocate. Conducting initial evaluations and triennial re-evaluations; collaborating, formally and informally, with teachers and instructional staff to develop sound, research-based instructional and behavioral practices & interventions; ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to; plus, supporting the administration and building staffs in the district's attempt to move towards a preventative-based RTI, MTSS process.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Valid school psychology license and certificate from the professional board and the Ohio Department of Education. Training and/or experience in Response to Intervention (RTI)(MTSS) Strategies.</p> <p>Experience conducting and/or facilitation of Intervention Assistance Teams. Experience in designing and deploying interventions for students. Documentation of a clear criminal record.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</p> <p>Conduct screenings, assessments and evaluations</p> <p>Provide best practices regarding social and emotional development in children and youth</p> <p>Participate in problem solving and implement academic and behavioral interventions and strategies at the building level</p> <p>Facilitate individual and/or group counseling</p> <p>Consult with building teams as needed</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>Commensurate with experience and in accordance with specified salary schedule</p> <p>Reports To:</p> <p>Executive Director for the Center of Student Services</p> <p>Application Procedure:</p> <p>Please complete the employment application through the online system at www.escco.org.</p> <p>Search "Careers".</p>
