<p>Job description</p> <p>Bilingual Senior Vice President, Public Sector Latin America, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., New York, NY:</p> <p>Manage a portfolio of clients operating in the Public Sector in Latin America. The portfolio covers Central Banks, State-owned entities and sovereigns in Latin America, which requires routine and high-profile meetings with senior members of Latin American governments, conducted in Spanish. Originate new business across the spectrum of Global Banking and Markets products and services, including but not limited to debt capital markets, structured products for the Central Banks, State-owned entities and sovereigns in Latin America portfolio. Originate new business across global markets solutions, custody and securities services for the Central Banks, State-owned entities and sovereigns in Latin America portfolio. Originate new business for asset management solutions, real asset and fund financing, trade finance, and global cash management for the Central Banks, State-owned entities and sovereigns in Latin America portfolio. Review legal and financial documents in English and Spanish, including translating pitchbooks to some of our clients in Latin America that are not fluent in English. Work closely with internal product stakeholders in New York to ensure that transactions are balancing risk and return, compliant with both internal and external requirements, and safeguarding the bank against any material loss. Prepare and present credit requests to senior credit HSBC officers and other internal committees. Understand and present on financial crime risks.</p> <p>#LI-DNI</p> <p>Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay range: $190,000 to $200,000 per year.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Relationship Management within the financial sector.</p> <p>Must have 3 years of experience in:</p> <ul> <li>Managing relationships with C-Suite executives at global clients; </li><li>Credit analysis; </li><li>Originating and executing complex global banking transactions; and </li><li>Global markets, securities services, capital markets, cash management, and asset management products. </li></ul> <p>Must have 1 year of experience working with Public Sector clients in the banking industry.</p> <p>Must demonstrate written and oral fluency in Spanish for business and finance.</p> <p>International and domestic travel required up to 10%</p> <p>If you would like to apply to this position, please click the 'Apply' button.</p> <p>In compliance with applicable laws, HSBC is committed to employing only those who are authorized to work in the US.
