<p>Job Description:</p> <p>World Languages, Adjunct Faculty Pool | Openings expected for Spring 2026</p> <p>Adjunct positions are an "Open Pool" for the upcoming Spring 2026 semester. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis.</p> <p>Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time, semester-to-semester, non-benefited MCCC/MTA/DCE unit positions.</p> <p>SALARY RANGE: $1,397 to $1,688 per credit</p> <p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES</p> <p>Teaches a range of French courses.</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Conducts classes; </li><li>Prepares for instruction; </li><li>Assesses student performance; </li><li>Provides student assistance by appointment; and </li><li>Attends a limited number of faculty meetings. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE*</p> <ul> <li>Master of Arts or Master of Arts in Teaching in French or related field; </li><li>Demonstrated successful experience working with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, with a range of academic abilities; and </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to the community college mission. </li></ul> <p>If you do not meet all listed qualifications but believe your experience, education, or training provides an equivalent foundation for success in the role, we strongly encourage you to include an equivalency statement in your application.
