<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is currently seeking a Force Employment Planner located on Ford Island in Oahu, HI to support USINDOPACOM's Force Development and Design (IFDD) Directorate (J732) by working with joint staff to train, educate, and complete exercises to build near-term force readiness, campaign to create competitive advantage, and secure required global force posture while also adapting the joint force to changes in the operating environment and the character of war.</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate Force Employment events with internal USINDOPACOM stakeholders and external stakeholders. </li><li>Work with exercise planning tools, such as the Joint Training Tool (JTT). </li><li>Independently perform duties required by the customer to enable participants at planning events to immediately be effective. </li><li>Represent IFDD requirements at external forums and events. </li><li>Build agendas and associated products in support of J732. </li><li>Assist with event set-up and event product development (briefs and handout material). </li><li>Provide after action reports, lessons learned, and other feedback during/following each event. </li><li>Provide Force Employment insights into development of USINDOPACOM wargames, exercises, and experiments. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree and five (5)+ years or more experience; additional four (4) years' experience accepted in lieu of degree. </li><li>Demonstrated experience as an action officer in a four-star command headquarters. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of the USINDOPACOM area of operations. </li><li>Demonstrated understanding of military processes and procedures for working across Joint Directorates and Component staffs. </li><li>Demonstrated experience with exercise design and planning. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED CLEARANCE:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain. </li><li>Must be a current U.S. Citizen. </li></ul> <p>Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.
