<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Secretarial and Office Personnel/Accounts Payable</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>12/1/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Board Office Administration</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>01/01/2026</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>12/8/2025</p> <p>District:</p> <p>  Loveland City School District  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>EXEMPT POSITION(S) AVAILABLE:</p> <p>Central Office: Administrative Assistant to the Treasurer's Dept/Accounts Payable</p> <p>252 day work calendar</p> <p>Base Salary: (2025-2026) $22.77/hr</p> <p>Job Title: Administrative Assistant to the Treasurer</p> <p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION</p> <p>Relieves the treasurer of clerical work and assists with administrative and business detail QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Experience with personal computers is required. </li></ul> <p>PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Report to work regularly and on time, prepared to perform appropriately assigned duties throughout the day, in service to students, staff, and the community. </li><li>Prepare for and perform all assigned duties required by one's job description in a positive and collaborative manner. </li><li>Follow justifiable directives issued by the established chain of authority with a learning-oriented attitude and seek support when needed. </li><li>Identify, report, and/or if possible control unsafe conditions or safety hazards in order to maintain safe and secure working and learning environments. </li><li>Demonstrate professional respect and integrity when interacting with students, parents, staff, community members and other stakeholders. This includes and is not limited to verbal, nonverbal, personal and electronic interactions. </li><li>Comply with federal laws, state statutes, Board policies, and related administrative guidelines that prohibit coercive, harassing, threatening, retaliating, bullying or discriminating conduct. </li><li>Communicate in a truthful, timely, compassionate, and empathetic manner about any matter of interest to the District following the appropriate chain of authority. </li><li>Manage District property and assets in an ethical and responsible manner in accordance with federal laws, state statutes, Board policies, and related administrative guidelines. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality of information as required under federal laws, state statutes, Board policies, and related administrative guidelines. </li><li>Report actions, through the appropriate chain of authority that may represent violations of federal laws, state statutes, Board policies, and related administrative guidelines. </li><li>Refrain from unethical activity that may reasonably interfere with the legitimate operational interests and goals of the District. </li><li>Comply with all other federal laws, state statutes, Board policies, and related administrative guidelines. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Ensures all district invoices are paid in a timely fashion. </li><li>Reviews each purchase order and invoice to ensure proper paperwork has been completed, approved and attached. </li><li>Initiates purchase orders for all invoices. </li><li>Creates purchase orders out of requisitions from all buildings and Board office. </li><li>Interacts and maintains relationship with vendors. </li><li>Assists district personnel with questions or concerns regarding purchase orders or budget issues. </li><li>Researches and assists district personnel with accounts payables and/or purchasing problems. </li><li>Provides spreadsheet and word processing support to district personnel as needed. </li><li>Oversees the district's accounts receivables process. </li><li>Posts all receipts including student activity records and receipts and athletics receipts. </li><li>Ensures accurate account reconciliation. </li><li>Prepares bank deposits. </li><li>Provides general secretarial duties for the treasurer. </li></ul> <p>OTHER INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH THIS POSITION</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and administration. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as reference manuals, Board policies and procedures manuals. </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. </li><li>Ability to write simple correspondence. </li><li>Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from students, parents, agencies, teachers or members of the school community. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information to administration, staff, public groups, and/or Board of Education </li><li>Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory based on school objectives. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and community. </li><li>Ability to speak clearly and concisely in written or oral communication. </li><li>Ability to use computers where applicable. </li><li>Frequent repetitive hand motion, e.g., computer keyboard, typing, calculator, writing </li><li>Frequent requirement to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, see, read, speak, reach, stretch with hands and arms, crouch, kneel, and stoop </li><li>The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Treasurer STATUS: Exempt SALARY: Based on training and experience in accordance with the district salary schedule.
