Begin and grow your career at one of the nation's top healthcare organizations.</p> <p>As a Respiratory Care Limited Permit Holder, you'll work with respiratory therapists, technicians, nurses and physicians to meet our patients' diverse and changing needs.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00am - 7:00pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform respiratory therapy assessment with the guidance of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide basic respiratory therapy modalities to both adult and pediatric patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer aerosol breathing treatments.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in metered dose inhaler (MDI) therapy.</p> </li><li> <p>Learn the duties and responsibilities of respiratory care under the leadership of highly skilled, tenured RRTs.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Active enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.</p> </li><li> <p>Current temporary limited permit to practice respiratory care (RCLP-L1) in the State of Ohio.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prior experience in critical care and/or neonatal/pediatrics.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills: critical thinking, independent working, active listening, collaboration and adaptability.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
