Employee is responsible for adhering and practicing the GMP and Food safety procedures and controls implemented within the boundaries of their job function at the Chester site.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Package finished products into bags or bulk containers using semi-automated packaging equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Transport and load finished products using an industrial lift truck.</p> </li><li> <p>Spot railroad cars and locate them at appropriate position utilizing a mechanized rail car mover.</p> </li><li> <p>Work at elevated levels to measuring Silos, fill railcars and bulk trucks and utilizing Fall Protection devices.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be familiar with chemical processing equipment for potential transfer to Utility Technician to operate filter presses.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform minor maintenance duties on packaging equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Brace and place tonnage for all railroad cars and trucks.</p> </li><li> <p>Replace baghouse filters as required by Maintenance Schedule.</p> </li><li> <p>Clean bag packaging and bulk loading equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Receive and stock shipping pallets and product bags.</p> </li><li> <p>Inventory of packaging supplies and finished products.</p> </li><li> <p>Daily housekeeping for Packaging Area.</p> </li><li> <p>Operation of Ink Jet Printing System.</p> </li><li> <p>Operation of Automated Palletizer and Stretch Wrapper.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma required.</p> </li><li> <p>Satisfactory completion of all defined self-study and Process Specific training requirements for the Packaging Operator Classification.</p> </li><li> <p>Satisfactory completion of On-the-Job Training requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Systems training (ISO9000/14001), GMP and Responsible Care Training.</p> </li></ul> <p>The Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.
