<p>Job Description</p> <p>Manages, plans, organizes and evaluates the staff and activities of the preventative maintenance program for Clinical Engineering equipment. Provides technical support and develops and maintains policies and procedures for the department.</p> <p>Job Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>Provides leadership to Clinical Engineering team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives. </li><li>Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system. </li><li>Manages all installations, renovations, and expansions regarding Clinical Engineering equipment to ensure proper operation of the technology. </li><li>Ensures the efficient and technical operation, maintenance and compliance of all dialysis units. </li><li>Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff. </li><li>Ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Recommends, implements and adheres to approved operating goals, objectives and budget. </li><li>Reports operational performance, justification and/or corrective action. </li><li>Ensures implementation, and evaluation of operating policies, procedures and processes. </li><li>Evaluates equipment and recommends maintenance, repair, upgrade or replacement. </li><li>Builds and maintains productive intra-departmental work relationships to optimize operations. </li><li>Performs related duties as required. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualification</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. </li><li>6-8 years of relevant experience and 2-5 years of leadership / management experience, required. </li><li>Additional Salary Detail </li></ul> <p>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).</p>
