The program will run from August 4, 2025 through August 19, 2025. Classes are one hour sessions, running Monday through Thursday from 9:00am-10:00am and 10:15am-11:15am. The position will include either one or two sessions depending on enrollment. All classes will be offered in-person.</p> <p>The instructor for each class will be compensated $53.04/hour.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>NYS Certification: Earth Science 7-12 </li><li>NYSED Fingerprint Clearance* </li><li>Fingerprint Clearance: SAVE Law: Effective July 1, 2001, Education Law §§305(30), 3004-b, 3004-c and 3035, as amended by Chapter 180 of the Laws of 2000, and Part 87 of the Commissioner's Regulations require the Commissioner of Education to request a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check for applicants for certification as well as for prospective employees of school districts, charter schools and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES).
