<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>We are currently seeking a full-time person to perform our quality inspections. This role is important to ensure all custom parts and in process work meet our requirements, and to assist with other quality departmental duties.</p> <p>LACO Technologies is a leading-edge technology company and manufacturer of custom Vacuum and Leak Testing Systems that serves Aerospace, Automotive, Medical/Pharmaceutical, and other technological industries, in both domestic and international markets. Working hours for this position is an 8-hour shift, M - F, with some flexibility on the start time. Flexible scheduling options, paid holidays, and a generous PTO offering make LACO a company worth considering for employment.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Main Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform incoming inspections of custom parts to ensure conformance to drawing specifications. </li><li>Review drawings and specifications for comparison of produced materials. </li><li>Use precision instruments such as a micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, height gauge and other measuring equipment to ensure items meet drawing specifications. </li><li>Record inspection results data in our ERP database. </li><li>Document nonconformities and communicate results to interested parties. </li><li>Properly release conforming materials to the correct jobs or departments. </li><li>Perform in process inspections of machined parts, welds, control panels, and assemblies. </li><li>Perform final inspections of vacuum and test systems. </li><li>Experience with the calibration of shop tools is a plus. </li><li>Experience with internal audits and ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Correctly interpret drawing symbols, dimensions, tolerances, and notes </li><li>Proficient in the use of measuring and test equipment and inspection techniques </li><li>Experience performing weld inspections </li><li>A keen eye for detail </li><li>Communication Skills </li><li>Decision-making skills </li><li>Time management skills </li><li>Computer Literacy (Microsoft office, ERP Systems) </li><li>Able to follow quality standards, company policies, and directions from management </li><li>Quickly adapting to changes in workload and priorities </li><li>Ability to work well both independently and in teams </li><li>Forklift experience is a plus </li><li>Calibration experience is a plus </li><li>Experience performing Internal Audits and familiarity with ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 are a plus. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications/Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>2-3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing production environment. </li><li>Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent. </li><li>College degree and/or professional certification is a plus. </li><li>Able to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, and reach with hands. </li><li>Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience. </li><li>Shift: Monday through Friday regular business hours with some flexibility in your start and stop times. As well as the ability to participate in our 9/80 work schedule, which gives you every other Friday off.
