<p>Job Title: Medical Office Assistant</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Communicate with payor representatives via telephone, fax, and written correspondence in a tactful and customer service-oriented manner. Exchange relevant information with other hospital departments and physician offices. Perform account maintenance by request or in line with payor and payment guidelines. Identify and inform the department manager of issues causing credit balances and assist in developing action plans.
