<p>IT Technical Support Intern</p> <p>Reports To: Manager, Technical Support</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Learn about the cattle feeding business and information technology through an internship on the IT Technical Support Help Desk. With a strong customer service mindset and a can-do attitude, youll triage and resolve issues or route them to the appropriate internal teams. When not handling support requests, youll perform other support-related tasks, including documentation and more. Youll gain business insight and learn what its like to work in the IT department of the worlds largest cattle feeding company.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as first point of contact for submitted technical support issues </li><li>Triage issues including basic hardware, software, access, and connectivity problems </li><li>Resolve or route and escalate issues to the appropriate teams with follow up </li><li>Deliver courteous, professional, and timely customer service to all users </li><li>Accurately document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system </li><li>Communicate clearly with users on issue status, expectations, and next steps </li><li>Complete documentation and other support-related tasks as directed by manager </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Customer service-focused with a friendly, can-do attitude and strong work ethic </li><li>Analytical mind that enjoys troubleshooting problems and working toward solutions </li><li>Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills </li><li>Reliable, dependable and punctual </li></ul> <p>Desired Other</p> <ul> <li>Potential interest in an IT career </li><li>Currently pursuing or planning advanced education in IT </li><li>Basic user knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and networking concepts </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and related applications </li></ul> <p>While this internship offers flexibility with hours and scheduling, it is an in-office position at our corporate headquarters near I-25 and Hwy 34 in Johnstown, CO. Infrequent after hour issue support may be required.</p>
