<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Acuren is looking for experienced RSO/QAQC/Safety manager to support our operation in Commerce City, CO.</p> <p>We are currently seeking local candidates based in Denver and/OR Commerce City, Colorado or surrounding area. Relocation Assistance case-by-case.</p> <p>The Radiation Safety Officer/QAQC/Safety manager works with all levels of the organization to ensure the delivery of world-class quality services to the region's clients. This position will work closely with the Division Managers and Operations Managers to ensure that corporate goals and objectives for the radiation programs are met.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be multi-certed in MT, PT, UT, RT</p> <p>Additional experience with CR, DR, and PAUT is a plus</p> <p>Experience in NAS 410, ISO-17025, and ISO-9001 standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide resources to ensure we use appropriate safety equipment, carry out radiation safety training where required, and to conduct radiation safety audits on a regular basis. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Radiation Safety and environmental programs. Ensure compliance has been achieved and maintained at the respective Acuren facility relative to DOT and IATA regulations. </li><li>Audit on-the-job radiation safety performance. </li><li>Ensure compliance and corrective actions when required are implemented. </li><li>Monitor radiographic operations and the use of all procedures in the specific area of responsibility through audits, inspections, and other oversight techniques. </li><li>Provides training and guidance in the adherence of the radiation safety program in the local office. </li><li>Hands on training for 40-hour Rad. Safety for A/R's. </li><li>Shipping & handling of sources and source retrieval. </li><li>Quarterly inspection of cranks and guide tube quarterly, cranks to be sent out annually. </li><li>Calibration of the Dosimetry and survey meters. </li><li>Manage RSO duties for one office. </li><li>May perform radiography in the field as needed. </li><li>Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies. </li><li>Advise all management on radiation safety issues. </li><li>Maintain and manage jurisdictional Radioactive Material Licenses. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by maintaining the Radiographic Operation and Emergency Manual. </li><li>Ensure RSO training and certifications are current. </li><li>Conduct annual corporate audits for each facility. </li><li>Investigate all Radiation Safety Incidents. </li></ul> <p>Other work duties as assigned.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with all relevant licenses, Operating and Emergency Manuals, NRC and applicable State Regulations, and pertinent sections of 49 CFR Transportation. </li><li>Multi-certed in MT, PT, UT, RT </li></ul> <p>Additional experience with CR, DR, and PAUT is a plus</p> <ul> <li> <p>Familiarity in NAS-410, ISO-17025, and ISO-9001 standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience as a leader.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>High School Graduate or equivalent. </li><li>At least two (2) years of full-time Radiography experience. </li><li>Must meet the qualifications of RSO, including experience in source retrieval and equipment maintenance. </li><li>Corporate RSOs who have not met the two-year full-time radiographer requirement may submit alternative qualifications demonstrating their training and experience in radiation safety programs. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salary </li><li>Medical, dental, and supplemental insurance </li><li>401K Plan </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Pay Transparency:As per applicable state law the job posting pay is $90K depending on experience and applicable certifications. </li></ul> <p>Company Overview</p> <p>Acuren is a trusted, single source provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
