Our work brings about life-changing transformation, and we're seeking Health Specialists to join our Early Childhood Education team and be a vital part of this mission.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <p>The Area Program Supervisor will oversee Interdisciplinary Services for the Early Head Start and Head Start Center-Based and Home-Based program options ensuring adherence to all Federal and State requirements. The Area Program Supervisor will provide effective leadership and supervision strategies to staff by providing technical assistance, staff development, ongoing training, and support to ensure program compliance and implementation of program goals.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise direct-reports, including having crucial conversations and giving and receiving constructive feedback </li><li>Oversee the hiring process for Interdisciplinary Team Managers and Coordinators - including participating in recruitment fairs and utilizing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) </li><li>Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and provide support </li><li>Oversee update of policies and procedures and annual inventory of supplies and materials </li><li>Manage enrollment and recruitment efforts of students; conduct mass enrollment by open houses, fairs, and canvassing </li><li>Oversee Pre-Service, In-Service, and New Hire Orientation to endure required trainings are provided to staff </li><li>Ensure the coordination and implementation of Parent, Family, Community Engagement (PFCE) Framework into all program areas </li><li>Partner with other delegate agencies, liaison with the Los Angeles Office of Education (LACOE)m Los Angeles County Mental Health Department, and Los Angeles Angeles County of Public Health </li><li>Plan the program, particularly in mental health, health, nutrition, family engagement and ERSEA </li><li>Ensure School Readiness Goals are carried out </li><li>Meat with LACOE Consultants for monitoring visits </li><li>Monitor data trends and provide reports for Consolidated School Readiness Goals, Re-funding Application, and Self-Assessment </li></ul> <p>About You:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field. Master's degree preferred. </li><li>2+ years supervisory experience in a licensed childcare center or serving children five (5) years of age or younger </li><li>Knowledge of State Department of Education -Title V, and of Social Services Title 22. </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in English </li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish preferred </li><li>Travel to all centers in all service areas, as needed </li><li>Valid California Class C Driver's License </li><li>Valid automobile insurance </li><li>Some nights and weekends will be required </li></ul> <p>Additional job details:</p> <ul> <li>Pay Rate: $73,000 annual salary </li><li>Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM; Friday 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM; alternating Friday OFF </li><li>Exempt </li><li>Full-time </li></ul> <p>Location: 155 N.
