<p>Job Description</p> <p>Maintenance Technician - Quincy, IL</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician is an hourly position and is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machines/equipment at the Quincy Crosswind facility. The schedules for this role are Monday - Friday, 7:00a to 3:30p. Work hours are subject to change to meet business needs.</p> <p>Facility Expectation</p> <ul> <li>Follow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards. </li><li>Ensure product quality expectations are met. </li><li>Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required. </li><li>Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule. </li><li>Work with other Operations colleagues to effectively communicate production issues. </li><li>Participate in morning toolbox, shift exchange/review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance. </li><li>Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues. </li><li>Required to work overtime as specified by management. </li><li>Attend training classes in-plant or at other locations as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Work Duties</p> <ul> <li>Meet or exceed KPI goals as set forth by management. </li><li>Maintain general preventative maintenance schedules for the production and research areas. </li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, gas, steam, water and air problems. </li><li>Lead the installation of new plant equipment. </li><li>Install and/or modify electric, air, water, steam, and gas supply lines. </li><li>Modify the process flow to improve safety, quality and efficiency issues. </li><li>Maintain the building and surrounding facilities. </li><li>Notify Plant Manager immediately in the even issues arise that may cause production delays. </li><li>Responsibility to identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel. </li><li>Work in the most effective, efficient and safe manner at all times. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or equivalent experience in maintenance or related field preferred. </li><li>Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a grain processing plant or related field preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of mechanical and electrical blueprints. </li><li>Capability of operating various mechanical equipment. </li><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent </li><li>Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred </li><li>Ability to act in a professional manner and adhere by ADM's Code of Conduct </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs </li><li>Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces </li><li>Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when required </li><li>Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet working conditions </li><li>Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Self-motivated with a solid work ethic </li><li>Good attitude and works well in team atmosphere. </li><li>Handles other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.</p> <p>REF:106321BR</p>
