This role serves as a primary provider of student-facing career advising, workshops, employer and graduate school engagement, and faculty collaboration. Working within a college-wide career strategy led by the Senior Manager of Career Services, this position focuses on execution, program delivery, relationship management, and continuous improvement through data and assessment. The Career Services Manager is a core contributor to student success and post-graduation outcomes by supporting career readiness, experiential learning, employer connections, and graduate/professional school pathways.</p> <p>What you'll do in this position:</p> <ul> <li>Provide individualized and group career advising to undergraduate and graduate students, supporting career exploration, job and internship readiness, and graduate/professional school pathways </li><li>Design and deliver engaging career workshops, classroom presentations, and signature career programs aligned with student and employer needs </li><li>Build and maintain relationships with employers and graduate/professional programs to expand recruiting pipelines, networking, and experiential learning opportunities </li><li>Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to integrate career development into curricula and support student outcomes </li><li>Advise and support student organizations and leadership initiatives connected to career and professional development </li><li>Collect, maintain, and analyze career engagement and outcomes data to support assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>What qualifies you for this role:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>A firm commitment to the mission of BYU. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in higher education, counseling, human resources, business, life sciences, or closely related field </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <p>Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience in career services, employer relations, student success, or related fields </li><li>Demonstrated experience working directly with students and delivering programming or workshops </li><li>Strong career advising and coaching skills </li><li>Effective interpersonal and relationship-building abilities </li><li>Program coordination and event management skills </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines </li><li>Professional judgment, discretion, and collaboration </li><li>Proficiency with common productivity tools </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in a relevant field </li><li>Experience working in a college or university setting, particularly with STEM or life sciences students </li><li>Experience with employer relations, graduate school advising, or experiential learning programs </li><li>Familiarity with career platforms such as Handshake or CRM systems </li><li>Knowledge of employment trends, graduate school pathways, and recruiting practices </li><li>Experience using data to inform programming or service improvements </li><li>Experience collaborating with faculty or academic departments </li></ul> <p>Application Deadline: Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 12 AM</p> <p>Required Documentation - To be considered, your application must include the following materials:</p> <ul> <li>Resume </li><li>Cover Letter </li><li>Letter of Recommendation </li></ul> <p>What we offer in return:</p> <p>In addition to our competitive pay structure, this position comes with fantastic benefits, including:</p> <ul> <li>401k.
