<p>Our Kforce client located in Saint Louis, MO is seeking to hire a Tax Accountant. This client offers great salary and benefits, 3 weeks PTO - this is a great opportunity for growth and good culture. This position is scheduled as hybrid, Monday -Thursday on site, WFH on Fridays.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Preparing all financial data for processing tax returns </li><li>The Tax Accountant will be ensuring that clients comply with all relevant tax laws and regulations </li><li>Assisting clients during tax audits </li><li>Research tax issues </li><li>Financial Analysis - provide insight and recommendations </li><li>Interacting with clients to gather necessary information </li><li>Reconciling general ledger </li><li>Process journal entries </li><li>The Tax Accountant will maintain organized records of tax documents, communications, and other relevant materials </li><li>Additional projects as assigned by leadership* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field </li><li>0-4 years of Tax experience </li><li>Communications skills both verbal and written </li><li>Organizational skills - keep track of a variety of tasks </li><li>Advanced Excel skills, spreadsheet, accounting software experience is a plus </li><li>Time management skills - adapt to unexpected changes and meet deadlines </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and to accurately report to leadership with a timely resolution </li><li>Knowledgeable accounting theory and financial statement presentation </li></ul>
