<p>Job Description Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Provides protection for individuals and property from injury and/or criminal acts, prevents unauthorized entry, and responds to emergency situations. Provides cargo screening if assigned. </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. </li><li>Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior. </li><li>Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Domicile/Work Location:</p> <ul> <li>This position will be located in Indianapolis, Indiana at the INDY HUB. </li></ul> <p>Relocation:</p> <ul> <li>Relocation assistance is not available for this position. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <ul> <li>Two (2) years college/equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Two (2) years' experience in law enforcement/military/security or a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations. </li><li>Ability to successfully complete required training programs. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Job Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>If posted for Global Screening team, requirements include successful completion of cargo screening training and certification. </li><li>Must maintain a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle. </li><li>Non-covered safety sensitive position. </li><li>Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. </li><li>Able to lift 50 lbs and to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Pay Transparency:</p> <p>Pay: $21.14/hr - $29.59/hr</p> <p>Additional Details:</p> <p>Federal Express Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer including, Vets/Disability.</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities throughout the application process.
