<p>Valve Assembly and Test Supervisor</p> <p>ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE</p> <p>BUSINESS: Leslie Controls, Inc</p> <p>LOCATION: Tampa, FL</p> <p>DIRECT REPORTING: Senior Production Manager</p> <p>FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: Operations</p> <p>POSITION DETAILS</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Valve Assembly and Test Supervisor manages and directs all phases of assembly, test, repair, and overhaul operations with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness to meet customer expectations and the corporate revenue plan. The Valve Assembly and Test Supervisor's key responsibility is to maintain production within specific guidelines and to manage these tasks directly. This individual will lead, coordinate and actively participate in continuous process improvement activities. This position works closely with all departments and multiple levels of employees.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>RESPONSIBIITIES INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to manage all the Assembly, Test, Repair & Overhaul team </li><li>Attends pre-shift meetings to observe and provide feedback to operations team focusing on continuous improvement </li><li>Organizational performance within the financial guidelines of the company </li><li>Assist with planning and directing the layout of the equipment </li><li>Ensure production follows appropriate workflow </li><li>Focus on the Circor Operating System for process improvement </li><li>Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates to optimize their performance and their personal and professional growth. </li><li>Ensures manufacturing performance and quality goals are met </li><li>Enforcing company guidelines and procedures </li><li>Responsible to adhere to all site safety policies and procedures </li><li>Conducts Behavior-Based Safety observations and works with employees to ensure they are performing their job in a safe manner </li><li>Interface with Engineering to insure proper solutions are in accordance with SOPS, WI, and properly documented for future reference </li><li>Responsible for maintaining production to meet the shipping schedule. This can involve changing priorities on a constant basis as the situation warrants. </li><li>Responsible for all time-keeping i.e. Labor charging and ADP time management </li><li>All other tasks and responsibilities as assigned </li></ul> <p>CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Knowledge Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to speak clearly and passionately, with excellent people skills </li><li>Basic GD&T knowledge </li><li>Reading and interpreting blueprints </li><li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to see fine details within the bigger picture </li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to delegate, adapting daily activities to changing priorities </li><li>Consistent, well organized, and tenacious </li><li>Experience with Assembly and Test </li><li>Experience with high mix - low volume manufacturing </li><li>Previous Labor Relations experience </li><li>Previous experience with ISO 9000 preferred </li><li>Experienced in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, CAD, Projects, Visio </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or other related field. </li></ul> <p>Work experience will be considered in lieu of degree on a case-by-case basis.</p> <ul> <li>2 years minimum experience as a supervisor in a small to mid-sized manufacturing company </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li>US Citizen </li></ul> <p>CIRCOR is an EEO Employer of Females / Minorities / Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities</p>
