In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex environmental projects and help to ensure the work is done in a safe and efficient manner.</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and implement the project wide SH&E plan </li><li>Interface with client, employees, subcontractors, and general public </li><li>Review and provide oversight of subcontractor's SH&E plan </li><li>Monitor subcontractor's compliance with its SH&E plans through audits and inspections and provide reports </li><li>Conduct and support incident investigations and reporting, training and risk planning efforts as required. </li><li>Travel to multiple project sites in LA County. </li><li>Develop weekly and monthly safety reports. </li><li>Analyze incidents and root causes to develop corrective measures. </li><li>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. </li></ul> <p>What Required Skills You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 10 years of related work experience in the field of safety and health. </li><li>Ability to professionally and effectively communicate both orally and in writing. </li><li>Ability to work with team (company employees, subcontractors, client and general public) </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe Professional, office automation products. </li><li>4-year degree in safety or construction related field from an accredited institution or related work experience in the field of safety and health </li><li>HAZOP Certification </li><li>A CHST or higher accredited certification </li><li>A valid drivers license is required </li></ul> <p>What Desired Skills You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>Contractor/Subcontractor oversite experience </li></ul> <p>Minimum Clearance Required to Start:</p> <p>Not Applicable/None</p> <p>This position is part of our Corporate team.</p> <p>For over 80 years, Parsons Corporation, has shaped the future of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.
