Apply now and help us help individuals we serve reach their full potential!</p> <p>Click Here to Apply</p> <p>An employee in this classification, under the supervision of an Early Intervention (EI) Coordinator, evaluates, assesses, and implements strategies and interventions through coaching based on child and family needs. Coaches families to build upon their natural strengths and supports so that their child can reach the child's full potential.</p> <p>Uses state-required tool(s) to determine eligibility and need for EI services at initial referral, at annual assessments, and at age three.</p> <p>Evaluates and assesses family and child strengths and needs in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to identified delays, at-risk conditions, medical status, and family dynamics.</p> <p>Makes appropriate referrals to community resources for services, assessments, and additional expertise that addresses the unique needs of the child and or family.</p> <p>Utilizes natural environments (home and community) to develop activities that promote skill development in the areas of: cognitive skills, physical skills, communication skills, social-emotional skills, adaptive skills including vision, hearing, nutrition, and sensory needs.</p> <p>Provides special instruction, which includes curriculum planning, and the planned interaction of personnel, materials, and time and space, that leads to achieving the outcomes in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).</p> <p>Participates in a trans-disciplinary team approach to early intervention programming.</p> <p>Facilitates individual and large group coaching strategies and techniques with parents/caregivers.</p> <p>Consults with parents on the specific child and family concerns and participates in future planning.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>(A) Holds a bachelor's degree or graduate-level degree in education, health, social or behavioral science, social services, human services, or other related field from an accredited college or university; or</p> <p>(B) Holds a bachelor's degree or graduate-level degree in any field from an accredited college or university and has at least two (2) years of verified full-time (or equivalent part-time), supervised, paid experience working with children birth through age five (5) with disabilities, developmental delays, or diagnosed physical or mental conditions that have a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay and their families; or</p> <p>(C) Holds a valid Early Intervention Developmental Specialist Certification from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.</p> <p>Our organization is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
