Interfaces effectively with the Chief Pilot, Director of Maintenance, and executive leadership to meet both regulatory and business objectives.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</p> <p>Operational and regulatory compliance</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop, update, and maintain the company's General Operations Manual (GOM),?Operations Specifications (Ops Specs), and other critical documents.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the primary point of contact with the FAA for all operational matters and ensure compliance with all applicable FARs.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the company's Safety Management System (SMS),?coordinating with other departments to identify and mitigate safety risks.</p> </li><li> <p>Continually monitors company policies and procedures to ensure the highest degree of safety compliance is maintained</p> </li></ul> <p>Flight operations management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure all flight operations are conducted safely and efficiently.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervise the Chief Pilot?and ensure all pilot responsibilities are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee pilot training programs, records, and crew scheduling to ensure compliance with duty and rest requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all flight crews are properly qualified and informed about operational procedures.</p> </li></ul> <p>Coordination and administration</p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with the?Director of Maintenance to coordinate flight operations and maintenance activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with other departments to develop and implement operational budgets.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and maintain operational records and documentation to meet FAA standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the management of operational assets, including aircraft and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Prevent and correct operational problems and ensure no future repeats of problems. Identify, evaluate and implement mandates from external sources, such as original equipment manufacturers, regulatory agencies, etc., in the organization's planning and decision-making processes.
