<p>Position Summary: The Modeling Manager supports survey, laser scanning, and drone operations by producing high-quality CAD, BIM and REVIT deliverables. This role leads Scan-to-BIM, Survey-to-BIM, CAD production, and survey layout support, bridging field data with downstream design and construction workflows. The position combines hands-on production with technical leadership and quality control.</p> <p>Salary Range: $110,000-140,000</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead, train, mentor, and supervise local team in support of project delivery.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop BIM and CAD models from survey data, laser scans, and photogrammetry.</p> </li><li> <p>Produce Scan-to-BIM and Survey-to-BIM deliverables at required LOD.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare layout-ready models and drawings for robotic total station workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with survey, scanning, and UAV teams to ensure proper data capture.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform scan registration and processing.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform quality control on models and drawings.</p> </li><li> <p>Support BIM coordination and client model review meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain modeling standards, templates, and libraries.</p> </li><li> <p>Interpret design documents including drawings, models, specifications needed to develop models and layout drawings.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with field crews to provide visualizations, ensure constructability, and pursue model-to-field workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote a culture of virtual building among internal and external stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the general contractor's issue tracking platform and manage the resolution of coordination issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Meet regularly with the project team to provide updates on deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in BIM coordination meetings with project teams, clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to the development and maintenance of model asset libraries, including standard families and details.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the integration of BIM and reality capture technologies into project workflows and construction planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend site visits to support the project team as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Position Related Skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Recap, Cyclone 3DR, Register 360, Navisworks.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with leveraging BIM throughout a project's lifecycle to support project requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience developing and maintaining Revit content libraries and modeling standard procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with point cloud data.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated Scan-to-BIM or Survey-to-BIM experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of survey tolerances and coordinate systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and interpret project documents, including drawings and specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong mathematical skills with the ability to calculate accurate dimensions and quantities.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication skills in English (read, write, and speak).</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow through on assignments.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to take ownership of drawings and models to ensure the highest levels of quality and accuracy.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to participate in field coordination meetings at both the main office and construction sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Visio)</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of construction layout.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience developing CAD and Revit standards and content libraries.</p> </li><li> <p>Background in surveying, geomatics, or construction technology.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (Forma), Bluebeam, Procore, Newforma, Smartsheet, and other document management systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Fundamental understanding of current building codes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical and Mental Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Standing/Walking/Sitting: Approximately 95% of the workday is spent sitting at a desk.</p> </li><li> <p>Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use.</p> </li><li> <p>Vision: Visual acuity in near, mid and far range vision.
